WASHINGTON : United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that continued Houthis attacks on stability in the region warrant continued military action and counter-action in Yemen.
In a press statement, Secretary Rubio also reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s “unalienable right to national self-defence”, and confirmed that the Yemeni government or Riyadh will never tolerate Houthis control over the important Bab el-Mandeb maritime trade route.
