PESHAWAR : Chief Minister of KP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi has said all constitutional and democratic means have been exhausted and a political group has been unconstitutionally imposed on the country.
Sohail Afridi in a highly critical statement said that he had consistently been denied permission to meet the PTI founder, and has had a lot of frustrations due to systemic restrictions. He pointed out that while court orders had directed that the PTI leader be shifted to a hospital, there had been no action from authorities in that regard. Ever since I became the Chief Minister, where have I indulged in politics of chaos? He said that despite the constitution and law providing “full” room for peaceful protest, I was not being given any such space.

In his concluding remarks, Afridi emphasized that they are not going to be intimidated by the government and that they are totally determined to do the long march. He said he was promising huge public turnout but that anyone who tried to bring violence and chaos to the protests would be cut off from “their peaceful aims.
