PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said that terrorism has to be dealt with seriousness and determination, and the whole country has to stand in unity to combat the evil of terrorism.
When Governor Kundi addressed the ceremony held in Peshawar for handing over plot allotment letters to the families of martyrs, he added that of course it was his duty as a governor to be present but he was also present as a fellow citizen standing shoulder to shoulder with the families of the national heroes.

Tribute to Police Martyrs: The governor paid glowing tributes to the supreme sacrifices of the law enforcement officials and assured the grieving families that the blood of the martyrs will never go in vain. He said the state will never leave their loved ones behind, though “no money can ever replace a loved one.
Recognizing the sacrifices of Institutions: Kundi said that the indomitable people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Pakistan Army, police and other state institutions have sacrificed a lot, and if the nation is today standing tall and proud is because of them.
Appreciation of Federal Support: The governor expressed thanks to the Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi for operational vehicles to improve mobility and capacities of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police.
