Trump Advises Tehran to Wave White Flag and Surrender to End the War
WASHINGTON: Iran should surrender and wave a white flag to end the war, U.S. President Donald Trump said, as he applies pressure on Tehran.
In an interview with the U.S. news outlet Fox News, Donald Trump said they have no set schedule for their Iran policy and that he is not “in a hurry” to finish the war. The US President has said that his decision on Iran is not being affected by the upcoming mid-term elections in the United States.
Both of them are Direct Stances: Direct Backchannel and Direct Nuclear.
Trump confirmed that there is a direct communication channel between the US and Iran, with officials of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He said Iranian officials are good poker players yet they are “running out.
Meanwhile, on his social media platform, Trump reaffirmed his tough stance on Iran’s nuclear program again. He said Iran should never and in no way be allowed to build a nuclear weapon.
The United States President said that the prevention of Iran from developing nuclear weapons is his “top priority” and that this issue has been and will remain the top priority of the United States. Trump’s new comments suggest that Washington is determined to keep up the pressure on Tehran and force them to take its terms.
