Serving British Royal Navy Member Arrested and Charged with Espionage; Accused of Gathering Protected Information for a Foreign Power

LONDON: Serving Royal Navy member arrested and formally charged following large-scale counter-terror investigation for espionage offences.

British media reports and the Metropolitan Police state that the man involved in the incident is 24-year-old resident of Bedfordshire, named Teddy Young. He is charged with serious offences relating to the acquisition, copying, recording and retention of highly-classified protected information to the benefit of an unidentified foreign power.
