Security Forces Successfully Thwart Militant Drone Attack in Balochistan, Shooting Down Five Drones in Kharan District; No Casualties or Material Damage Reported
QUETTA : Security forces are highly effective in countering the attack on a security check post in Balochistan by foiling a drone attack, which was being organized by hostile elements.
Security sources say that there was a plot to target a security checkpoint in Albat area of Kharan district by terrorists through the use of low grade drones. Security forces were quick and professional in their response, and efficiently neutralised all five drones before they could reach their targets, resulting in no loss of life or property.

The timely response by security personnel have put an end to the low-grade aerial threat at Kharan district, thus averting any threat to security infrastructure or civilians.
Without any hesitation in voice, the security sources stressed on the resolution and determination of the security forces to wipe out the Terrorism threat from Balochistan and they made it clear that the operations would not be stopped from any militant network till the very last terrorist is eliminated.
The successful interception comes after a series of other operations including an intelligence one in the Minaz area of Bulida in Kech district which resulted in gunfire and killing of one militant during a hot pursuit.
