Security Forces Eliminate 73 Indian-Backed Terrorists in 96 Hours Across Balochistan, ISPR Reports Major Breakthroughs
QUETTA: Within a span of 96 hours, Pakistan’s security forces have mounted a series of intelligence-led operations in various areas of Balochistan, crushing 73 terrorists and a devastating blow to hostile proxy forces in the region.
The security forces have stepped up their counter-terrorism operations in the province to flush out subversion funded by foreign interests and to bring absolute peace to the province, a detailed press statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
Key Operational Breakthroughs Across Balochistan
Security forces, after receiving specific intelligence, took action and targeted operations in Ziarat and Shaban sector to neutralise several terrorist hideouts in this area. The violent exchange of fire led to the death of 33 Indian infiltrators and seizure of large quantities of arms, ammunition and explosives. After that 72-hour sweeps, another 23 terrorists were found, making a total of 100 terrorists captured, and smashing the hideouts of Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
On September 25, a high-precision intelligence operation was launched by security forces in Nushki District, where 11 terrorists were eliminated based on intelligence inputs.Security forces quickly responded to intelligence reports about active threats against the population of Nushki District, and on September 25, 11 terrorists were killed.
In another targeted attack in the Mand area, security forces killed another 6 terrorists linked to enemy proxy groups.

The ISPR spokesperson highlighted that the continuing operations have severely affected Indian-backed proxy networks and Afghan enablers aiming to disrupt regional peace and stability. The army has reiterated the state’s firm stance, saying operation Azm-e-Istehkam will be carried out with full vigour till all traces of foreign-backed terror are wiped out.
The extraordinary success of the security forces in Balochistan earned him the praise of the federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Hailing the tactical finesse of operations, Naqvi said that all the people of the country were standing shoulder to shoulder with our valiant security forces and operations against Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khwarij would go on till they were completely eradicated.
