SC Returns Govt Plea Against PTI Founder’s Hospital Transfer

Government’s Review Petition Against PTI Founder’s Hospital Transfer Returned With Objections

ISLAMABAD: The government has sought a review of the decision by the Supreme Court, which has returned the government’s review petition against the transfer of the PTI founder to hospital with formal objections.

Sources have stated that yesterday the Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court of Pakistan objected to the government’s review petition. The sources said that the petition was returned because the paper books were not completed; a fresh petition will be filed after the objections of the registrar are formally addressed.

Background and Delayed Implementation
It is noteworthy that two days ago the Supreme Court had ordered the transfer of the PTI founder to Shifa International Hospital but he has not yet been moved to the hospital.

The Advocate General Islamabad later filed the review petition against the decision of the court which ordered the transfer of the man to the hospital.
