Punjab CM Personally Monitoring Rain Situation in Rawalpindi: Azma Bukhari
LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari says Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif is keeping a close eye on the rain and water-logged situation in Rawalpindi.
Azma Bukhari said that the rescue teams, the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA), the Pehra Force and the district administration have been deployed on the ground to ensure that standing water is removed once the rain is over.
All necessary resources are deployed for drainage.All the resources are in place for drainage.
Azma Bukhari said that the civic bodies, including WASA, are fully equipped with all requisites to remove the flood water from the city and assured that the flood water would be removed with the coming hours.
