PTI Long March Camps in Karak; CM Sohail Afridi to Lead Participants Toward Kohat Today

KOHAT: The protesters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) long march which started from Lakki Marwat are camped in Karak overnight while Karakhanbaw Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi is ready to march the caravan ahead to the next destination Kohat.

While arriving in Kohat, CM Afridi will address party workers and supporters and National Assembly member Shehryar Afridi will receive the convoy. The long march will be resumed, after a halting and political meeting at Kohat, in the same direction towards Peshawar.

The event starts from Gundi Chowk, Lakki Marwat, camping overnight in Karak and then the march moves on the southern and central districts of the province, attracting supporters from the nearby areas.

Full announcements regarding the next steps for what will happen in the future will be made once the caravan arrives in Charsadda and Swabi, PTI leadership said.

Throughout the march, CM Afridi has been proactively flexible in terms of the engagement of the federal government, while reiterating the need to keep the provincial government well-informed about the local security policies and law enforcement strategies.
