Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Visit United States Next Month
ISLAMABAD: The President of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is to meet Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif next month in the United States to lead Pakistan’s delegation.According to Samaa TV, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will be accompanying Pakistan’s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to attend the annual session in the United States next month.
The preparations are now in full swing at the Prime Minister’s House and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to prepare the comprehensive itinerary and diplomatic schedule for the Prime Minister. PM Shehbaz Sharif will also be involved in high-level discussions of the General Assembly and be scheduled for several important bilateral meetings with international leaders at the margins of the international summit.
The upcoming high-level session of the United Nations General Assembly will be an important forum for Islamabad to express its views on various regional security, global peace and economic development, as well as multilateral cooperation issues. During the visit, the leaders will have a significant discussion on enhancing bilateral relations, boosting cooperation in the economic field, and solving current geopolitical issues, according to diplomatic sources.
