Prime Minister Invites Opposition to Settle Matters
ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited the opposition to resolve the issue through dialogue. In a meeting of the federal cabinet, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, “I extend invitation to the opposition to settle, the government is ready to have a purposeful dialogue with opposition, we have been insisting on dialogue all the while.
He said that the price cut in diesel has been a welcome development, adding that the Petroleum Minister had done his best to cut the price of diesel by Rs 32. He said that the government is working to ease the plight of the common man, adding that the global situation has affected Pakistan and the relief of the people in this tough times of economic crisis is the foremost objective of the government.
Energy Challenges, Business App Launch, and Google Delegation
The Prime Minister said that some countries in the region have closed their refineries and chemical plants and Pakistan is an energy-importing country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the recent achievements in the economic and technological sectors, explaining that a special business application was released yesterday after consulting with the business community. He also said that the delegation of Google was in Pakistan too for which formal meeting was also held.
