Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Departs on Two-Day Visit to UK, Scheduled to Address UN General Assembly in New York
LONDON: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is leaving for the United Kingdom for a two-day official visit, after which the premier will head straight to the United States for his attendance at the forthcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
The Prime Minister’s two-day visit to London is followed by a trip to New York, where he will speak at the United Nations General Assembly on September 25, according to official details of his schedule.

On the sidelines of the UN summit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will have a range of high-level meetings and bilateral talks with other leaders and heads of government around the globe.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied in New York by a delegation of senior government officials, including key federal ministers. During the visit to the US, critical issues related to Pakistan’s strategic interests, economic diplomacy and pressing global and regional issues will be discussed.
