President’s Trophy Grade-1 Schedule Finalized, Tournament to Commence on September 12
LAHORE:The final timings for the President’s Trophy Grade-1 cricket tournament have been announced, and circulated to the participating teams. The departmental first class cricket tournament is to start from 12th September and will have eight competitive teams, sources said.
The four matches of each round will be played in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The grand final of the tournament will take place on 24 October to 28 October. The tournament will be played by the prominent departmental teams such as KRL, State Bank, Ghani Glass, MIT Solutions, Sui Northern, PTV, OGDCL, and Kingsmen Academy. In the interim, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also made some changes to the President’s Cup ODI schedule, as sources said.
