PCB Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Flag-Hoisting Ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium
LAHORE:It is a graceful and patriotic event organized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan.
PCB Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sameer Ahmed hoisted the national flag and led the cake cutting ceremony to mark the historic national day.
PCB staff and families actively participated in the event. This time, the Pakistan Cricket Board sent a warm message to the nation, and asked for special prayers to be offered for the development, safety and welfare of the country.
The celebrations are part of events across the nation to celebrate the 79th Independence Day, in which gun salute was fired and special prayers were held in the morning for the country’s unity and peace.
