OGRA Announces Price Reductions on Petroleum Products: Petrol Drops to Rs389.33 and High-Speed Diesel to Rs404.97 per Liter
ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a downward correction on the prices of petroleum products, thereby offering respite to the nation’s consumers.
The new price will be effective from 29th September, as per the official notification of the regulatory body.
High-Speed Diesel: The price of high-speed diesel has been cut by Rs3.56 per litre taking the new price to Rs404.97 per litre.
Petrol: The price of petrol was reduced by Rs2.27 per litre to Rs389.33 a litre.

The revised notification on prices has been officially shared with all the oil marketing companies and retailers for immediate implementation. The price reduction in fuel is expected to partially alleviate inflationary pressures in transportation and other critical products, according to financial analysts.
