Norwegian Foreign Minister Meets Field Marshal Asim Munir to Discuss Regional Security
RAWALPINDI:A high-level meeting between Norwegian Foreign Minister, Espen Barth Eide and Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir took place accompanied by Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
The meeting covered issues of common interest, regional security issues and bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Norway, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir spoke on the issue of global peace and security and regional stability, and pointed out the need for mutual cooperation and collaborative action to address common threats and risks in the region.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister commended Pakistan Army’s professional role in promoting peace and stability in the region. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing cooperation in defense and security domains.
