Nominations Completed for Four Vacant Azad Jammu and Kashmir Council Seats; Polling Set for October 12
MUZAFFARABAD: The process for the nomination of candidates for the four vacant seats on the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Council has been completed.
The details of the elections revealed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has officially announced Mushtaq Minhas, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed and Chaudhry Manzoor as its candidates for the upcoming elections, while the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has nominated Chaudhry Latif Akbar for the remaining seat.

Electoral College: On October 12 members of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will vote for representatives to be elected to the four coveted seats in the Kashmir Council.
Polling Timings: Polling will be conducted inside the Legislative Assembly Hall from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM while the count of votes will be done after that and results will be officially announced.
