News of Financial Aid to Iran and Visa Cancellations Is Baseless: Anwar Gargash
ABU DHABI: The UAE has never given Iran any financial support, facilities or residencies for any group or country, said Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President. In a statement from Abu Dhabi, Dr. Gargash has denied that the UAE was providing any kind of financial aid to Iran, claiming that false reports are being spread about the UAE. In a social media post on X,
he said that news about the cancellation of residency visas for some people is also wrong as the key is grounded facts and action, not rumors. Concentrate on Regional Developments and Dispelling MisinformationDr. Inaccurate information is being disseminated on different social media platforms, and the UAE is currently focused on shaping regional developments and planning for future, said Anwar Gargash.
He also stressed that the cancellation of worker Iqamas (residences) is a baseless report and that the speculations about the extension of financial facilities to Iran are utterly untrue.
