The meeting between the two Ministers in Tehran was of critical importance as both sides discussed the bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, Dunya News reported.
After the discussion, President Pezeshkian announced that Iran is ready to facilitate the process of further cooperation with Pakistan. He stressed that deepening bilateral cooperation will bring benefits to both sides and help to greatly enhance regional security and stability.
Stronger ties with Pakistan can significantly improve regional security, President Pezeshkian said, noting the welcome warmth and interest expressed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other Pakistani officials in deepening ties with Iran. He reaffirmed that Iran is eager to deepen cooperation in all areas to cater to both countries’ mutual interests.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, on the other hand, reiterated that the ties between Pakistan and Iran are strong and inviolable. He said Islamabad is proactively moving forward with a strong resolve to extend bilateral ties with Tehran in all areas.
