Minor Reduction Announced in Petrol and Diesel Prices
ISLAMABAD:he federal government has announced a minor reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel across the country.
According to the new price notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been slashed by 58 paisas per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been decreased by 17 paisas per litre.
New Rates and Three-Day Implementation Period
Following the downward revision, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs 342.52 per litre, while high-speed diesel will now be available at Rs 371.63 per litre.
It should be noted that these newly revised prices for petroleum products took effect past midnight and will remain applicable for a three-day period until August 31.
According to officials, the price adjustments were made after keeping global market trends for petroleum products and other relevant economic factors in view.
