Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi Holds Meeting With Pervaiz Khattak in Nowshera; Stresses That Meeting Political Leaders Aims to Find Pathways for Resolving Issues
NOWSHERA : Nowshera’s Governor Faisal Karim Kundi hosted a crucial meeting with Prime Minister’s Adviser on Interior Pervaiz Khattak in Nowshera where both the dignitaries discussed the prevailing political climate and issues of mutual interest in the country.
After the meeting, Governor Kundi met with the media and expressed awareness of the prominent role Pervaiz Khattak holds in KP political circles and said that “consultation at the national level” is necessary to move KP towards prosperity and development.
Shared Commitment to Development and Security: Governor Kundi said that advancement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa along the path of swift development and the elimination of terrorism are the top priorities, which requires the available resources to be effectively used for the advancement of the region.
Outreach to Political Leadership: KP Governor explained that the face to face discussions he is having with various political leaders are to look into possible ways to move forward to solve the issues in coordination with the federal government and that they will work on “one page” with the center.
NFC Award Assurances: The federal government has guaranteed that the province’s share under the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award will be made available on demand, Kundi added, making it clear that the province will make its case strongly and reasonably.
