KP Assembly Passes Resolution for Imran Khan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Unanimously Passes Resolution Demanding Imran Khan’s Transfer to Shifa Hospital

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly passed a formal resolution unanimously in regard to the health and medical condition of PTI founding leader Imran Khan who is currently in jail.

The resolution was put on the floor of the house by the treasury member Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani. The resolution demands urgent and essential measures be taken in the case of the health of the founder of PTI. The provincial assembly strongly condemned the federal government for not transferring him to the Shifa International Hospital, noting that the supreme court had given clear instructions to that effect.

The resolution calls for the immediate transfer of PTI founder to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment and comprehensive examination under the supervision of his personal physicians. Formal voting was done by the Speaker and the resolution was adopted unanimously by the house.
