slamabad-Peshawar M-1 and Hakla-Yarik M-14 Motorways Decided to Be Closed for Traffic Amid Security Measures
ISLAMABAD : The closure of Islamabad-Peshawar M-1 Motorway and Hakla-Yarik M-14 Motorway from today evening to all traffic has been officially announced by the National Highways and Motorway Police.
The M-1 Motorway will continue to be closed in both directions from the Islamabad Toll Plaza until Chach Interchange, according to the official statement.Several critical intersections and junctions along the routes will be shut down, such as:
The m-1 interchanges are Islamabad Toll Plaza, Fateh Jang, Tarnol, Sangjani, AWT, Brahma Bahtar, Burhan, Hazara Motorway, Ghazi, & Chach Interchange. M-14 Interchanges: Hakla from the intersection to Kundal which include Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Khadpa, Tarap, Daud Khel, Kot Belian, Isa Khel and Kundal Interchanges. GT Road Closures
Moreover, transport departments also confirmed that GT Road (N-5) will be closed in both directions from Attock Khurd from today evening onwards. Users of the railway have been warned strongly to remain vigilant about latest travel guidelines before travelling.
