Islamabad ATC Issues Non-Bailable Arrest Warrants for KP CM Sohail Afridi and Key PTI Lawmakers
ISLAMABAD: A non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued by Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Islamabad against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and other high-ranking members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a separate statement on the protest going on along the Constitution Avenue on February 15, four of the arrested PTI workers were directed to be sent on an identification parade to Adiala Jail.
The warrants were issued in the case of Ramna police station.The warrants come in Ramna police station case.
The anti-terrorism court issued fresh non-bailable warrants of arrest against the chief minister of the KP Province Sohail Afridi and provincial officials Meena Khan Afridi, Shahid Khattak and Shafi Jan in a case filed at Ramna Police Station against them.
The court ordered the Station House Officer (SHO) of Ramna police station to arrest the named persons and bring them in front of the court. Meanwhile, Special Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra issued non-bailable warrants for eight PTI MNAs and MPAs in parallel proceedings.

Judicial Remand for Identification Parade
Meanwhile the PTI workers who were arrested after the February 15 protest on Constitution Avenue were brought appeared before ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain.
The court had granted the police’s demand for the suspects to be sent to judicial remand at Adiala Jail for conducting a formal identification parade.
