IRGC Warns US Against Using Nuclear Weapons, Vows Seizure of Global Bases

TEHRAN: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) chief Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi has threatened the United States against trying to launch a nuclear attack against Iran.

Naqdi told American television network PBS that such a move by Washington would be a “massive mistake. He predicted “all American military bases worldwide will be captured in the morning following the bomb’s use. Emphasizing the changing dynamics in the world, he said the world has also raised its voice against such acts and will not tolerate it; the perpetrators can suffer repercussions soon.

Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Hamid Naqdi, pointed out that Tehran doesn’t need a nuclear bomb as the U.S. military has failed to be as strong as it was believed to be. He also said that as long as the fight goes on for years or even if Iran’s arsenal of missiles is exhausted, Washington’s vast economic interests in the world can be easily targeted.
