Iranian Armed Forces Announce Decisive, Effective, and Destructive Response to Any Threat
TEHRAN: Iranian Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami has said the country’s defense ministry has had a significant hand in the successful modernization of the country’s defense capabilities.
The military readiness has been greatly bolstered, with deterrence capabilities against potential adversaries put in place, Major General Hatami said, cautioning that hostile forces will be open to a historic lesson at sea if they get provoked. In this regard, Major General Ali Abdollahi claimed that any misjudgment or a possible threat from opponents will be countered by a decisive, powerful, effective and crushing reaction by the Iranian armed forces.
Strategic Control of the Strait of Hormuz
In the meantime, Iranian Navy Rear Admiral Shahram Iranian noted the Strait of Hormuz and the eastern part of the Sea of Oman play a key defensive role for the country and said that sea commerce into the Persian Gulf are kept under control at all times.
All actions by external regional enemies are being closely watched around the clock and they are mainly frightened by the Iranian populace’s unity and solidarity, he added.
