Iran Terms New US Sanctions as State and Economic Terrorism

TEHRAN: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has officially called the latest round of U.S. sanctions a case of “state and economic terrorism” in an official letter sent to the UN Secretary General, Security Council and all UN member states.

Foreign Minister Araghchi said that Iran has not succeeded in the military conflict or forcing other countries to participate in its campaign and is now making an aggressive attempt to cut off Iran’s “legitimate economic ties” with the world, according to Iranian media reports.
