Iran Cricket Association Delegation Visits PCB Headquarters in Lahore
LAHORE:The top-level delegation from the Iran Cricket Association visited Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) headquarters at Gaddafi Stadium. In this occasion, the Iranian delegates met the Chief Operating Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
During the visit, the delegation toured the historic Gaddafi Stadium, the Cricket Museum and the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and was given a detailed insight into the facilities and infrastructure provided for high performance training. The talks focused on fostering the promotion of the game of cricket and bilateral cooperation in sports between the two neighbouring countries.
Both boards discussed their respective ideas on the areas of development of junior and senior cricketers. An important development during the visit was the Pakistan team’s commitment to train the national junior and senior teams in Iran with expert Pakistani coaching, technical know-how and professional experience.
