Intelligence-Based Operation Conducted in Pakpattan, Terrorist Working for Indian Intelligence Agency Arrested with Explosives
PAKPATTAN : The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has successfully arrested one of its operatives which was allegedly working in Pakpattan with the help of intelligence operation.
A spokesman for the CTD said that the accused was arrested close to New Grain Market (Nai Ghalla Mandi). They found a large amount of explosive materials in his possession, including an improvised explosive device (IED), a battery and electric wires.
A suspect has been identified as the resident of Bajaur.
According to official accounts, it was Wajid Ali from Bajaur district, KP, who was arrested. Police confirmed that the suspect was in active contact with the anti-state intelligence forces.
A formal case has been registered against the accused and further interrogation is being held to get details of other networks and possible role players.
