India Is the Ultimate Sponsor of Terrorism in Pakistan, and the Afghan Taliban Regime Operates as India’s Proxy, States DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry; Warns Kabul Will Face Severe Consequences for Harboring Militants

RAWALPINDI: In a straight and hard shooting, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has slammed the external hostile actors in Pakistan with an unerring statement, pronouncing India as the largest sponsor of terrorism in Pakistan and the regime of Afghan Taliban as an Indian proxy.

In an interview with Reuters, the military spokesperson claimed that the terrorist groups like proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) are “open proxy” of India while Afghanistan is being controlled by “non-state actors” with no international presence and credibility.

DG ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry gave an interview to Reuters, some of the key highlights are:
International Pressure: The DG ISPR appealed to the international community to bring the Afghan regime in line with standard civilized state behaviour and stop supporting the terrorists targeting Pakistan, otherwise it would come at a heavy cost.

Multiple intelligence agencies and proxies are operating in Afghanistan, as well as international terrorist groups, which has been many times reported by the United Nations and the United States, said Liechtenstein General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, underlining operational realities. He singled out the names of high-profile terrorists such as Noor Wali Kharji, Bashir Zeb and Gul Bahadur, who live in the city in safe shelters from where infiltration cells and arms are introduced into the country.

Armed Forces’ preparedness to counter threats from Afghan regime: The military spokesman said that Pakistan’s armed forces have full operational capacity to neutralize and eliminate all threats emanating from the Afghan regime, including drone attacks.
