Houthi Drone Attack Thwarted Over Taif, Saudi Arabia: Falling Debris Results in One Fatality and Structural Damage
TAIF: An attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebel group on a city in Saudi Arabia, Taif, has been successfully intercepted and neutralized in mid-air, although one person died from falling debris.
Official statements from the Saudi Civil Defense state that the drone that came from the Houthis was intercepted by Saudi air defense systems. But in the populous city of Taif, debris fell, killing one and injuring two.

The authorities confirmed that the effects of the falling wreckage also had material impact on several local residential buildings and parked vehicles. Emergency response teams and security forces quickly took up the cordon and search operations to clear the affected areas and attend medical needs of the wounded.
