Initiative Proposed by Pakistan: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) affirmed that Field Marshal Asim Munir’s official visit to Tehran was a result of earlier statements by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei that the historic four-party format was first introduced by the Army Chief of Pakistan during previous diplomatic engagements.
