Government Announces Further Increase in Petroleum Product Prices; New Petrol Rate Set at Rs392.76 Per Liter
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has declared another hike in the prices of petroleum products in the country, thereby pushing consumer cost up further.
The revised rates have been effective from the official notification by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The revised petroleum prices are detailed below.
Petrol Price revised: Petrol’s price has been revised by Rs2.10 per liter, resulting in a new price of Rs392.76 per liter for consumers.
In the case of high-speed diesel, the price went up by Rs30 paisa per litre to Rs399.64 per litre.
Regulatory Implementation: OGRA notified the revised rates and clarified that the new rates shall continue to be effective until October 5.
