Petrol Becomes Costlier, Diesel Price Decreased by Rs 1.03
ISLAMABAD: The government has officially announced the revised prices of petroleum products.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 0.77 per litre, whereas the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 1.03 per litre.
Revised Rates and ImplementationFollowing the adjustments, the new price of petrol has been set at Rs 342.79 per litre, while diesel is fixed at Rs 370.41 per litre, with the formal notification issued accordingly. The newly revised prices for petrol and diesel will remain effective for a one-day period starting September 1, 2026.
