Government Announces Petrol Price Reduction and Diesel Price Hike; Petrol Decreases by Rs. 1.60 While Diesel Rises by Rs. 1.64
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has officially announced a minor revision in petroleum product prices, slashing the cost of petrol while simultaneously increasing the price of high-speed diesel.
According to the details released, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 1.60 per liter, bringing its new price down to Rs. 377.71 per liter. Conversely, the price of diesel has been hiked by Rs. 1.64 per liter, setting the new rate at Rs. 391.75 per liter.
