Goods Transport Fares Reduced by 10% Following Diesel Price Drop
LAHORE: After the significant drop in the prices of petroleum products, the goods transport sector announced a 10 per cent cut in transport fares.
In response to the fuel price cut, Pakistan Mini Mazda & Goods Transport Association in Lahore has announced 10 percent reduction in freight and transport fares. In this regard, President of the Pakistan Mini Mazda & Goods Transport Association (PMGTA) Haji Sher Ali said that the government had taken a positive decision towards the transporters and in response to the decision taken by the government, they are also formally reflecting the relief by cutting down the fare of the Mazda and goods transport by 10 percent.
Public Transport Relief
Likewise, the public transportation operators have also lowered their ticket rates by 10 per cent, which is likely to give immediate relief to people with regard to their travel costs.
