Gold Prices Surge Again After Brief Decline

Gold Prices Register Sharp Rebound in Local and International Markets; Per Tola Rate Jumps to Rs441,636

KARACHI:The precious metal prices, after a small pullback on previous two days, picked up a sharp turnaround on both domestic and international trading platforms.

The price of 24-karat gold has jumped Rs4,300 in the domestic market, to Rs441,636 per tola, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Association.

The LIR and IMR will be broken down into segments of both the price and the quantity.This will be done by segmenting both price and quantity of the LIR and IMR.
Domestic 24K Gold (10 Grams): The price of 24-karat gold 10 grams rose by Rs3,686 to Rs378,631.

Local silver rates also went up, pushing the tola rate up by Rs20 to Rs6,578.

International Market Trend: Gold in the international market rallied $43 per ounce to $4,191 an ounce.

The strong bounce back is due to a resurgence of buying activity and to global currency and commodity trends, according to market analysts.
