Gold Prices Register Major Decline Across Pakistan Following Global Market Corrections
ISLAMABAD: Gold in Pakistan has seen a significant pullback from highs, following a significant decline in international gold prices.The price of gold per tola saw a sharp decline of Rs5600 each tola, making the gold trading rate at the local sarafa market to Rs456736 per tola, according to the local sarafa market associations. Likewise, the price of gold of 10 grams went down Rs4,801 to Rs391,577.
In line with the rest of the world’s metals, silver prices also had a pullback. According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs253, settling at Rs6,871.In international trading, gold prices got a big blow as they fell $56 a piece, bringing the price of the global benchmark to $4,342 an ounce.The analysts of the market say that the domestic prices in Pakistan remain very volatile in accordance with international commodity situation and currency fluctuation.
