French Delegation Visits OGDCL Head Office, Discusses Strategic Mineral Collaboration and PMIF26 Participation
ISLAMABAD: A high-level French delegation, led by Benjamin Gallezot, Interministerial Delegate for the Supply of Strategic Minerals and Metals (DIAMMS), visited the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Head Office in Islamabad to hold crucial strategic discussions with MD and CEO Ahmed Hayat Lak.
The talks primarily centered on securing high-level French ministerial participation in the upcoming Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (PMIF26), which is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 13 in Islamabad.

As a founding partner of PMIF, OGDCL continues to play a pivotal and driving role in shaping this premier international platform. The forum brings together global investors, policymakers, industry leaders, and technical experts to foster international partnerships and accelerate investment across Pakistan’s mineral value chain.
Both sides underscored the importance of fostering bilateral cooperation focusing heavily on resource exploration, sustainable mining practices, and advanced processing technologies.
