Form New Administrative Units Based on Population Rather Than Ethnicity, Demands MQM-P Chairman Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui During Karachi Rally
KARACHI:Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Chairman Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has said that the demarcation of new administrative units in the country cannot be based on ethnicity and language and should be done on the basis of population size.
Siddiqui, addressing a mega event organised by MQM-Pakistan demanding the establishment of new administrative divisions, said that the administrative divisions should be based on the ground realities and not on linguistic differences.
This is a story about the restoration of the power of the people to the rulers in the country after 80 years.
In a strong attack on the ruling establishment, Siddiqui announced that the power should be removed from rulers who have ruled the country for the last 80 years and put directly into the hands of the people.
The Chairman of MQM-P declared to the spirited supporters, “When the people of Karachi go out, the governments falter and when we go out, oppression is revealed, and today we are on the streets.
