Donald Trump Promises $5,000 “Trump Dividend” to Every American Adult if Republicans Win Midterm Elections
DALLAS: Every U.S. adult citizen will get a $5,000 payment if the Republican Party keeps control in Congress in next week’s November midterm elections, U.S. President Donald Trump said.
The news from around the world is that President Trump announced it in a keynote speech at the Republican National Convention. He explained that the money would come from the administration’s economic measures but didn’t immediately specify how or what the legislation needed to be. Trump urged voters to buy in to Republican candidates by promising they would vote as if they had him on the ballot.
Defending his continued military involvement with Iran, Trump claimed that the main goal of the operations has been to deter Tehran from getting nuclear weapons.
He was also saying that if the conflict is won and it is resolved, there would be a drop in global oil prices immediately.The big financial commitment follows political headwinds for the Republican Party, as opinion polls show there is a solid chance the party could lose control of one or both of the chambers in Congress. Polling indicates that Democratic voters are much more energized as the midterm election nears, and the administration is stepping up its push for their support in the legislature.
