Details of PIMS Hospital Budget and Expenditures Revealed
ISLAMABAD:The financial records of budgetary allocation and spending of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital over last three years have been revealed.
The statistics show that the federal government has allocated Rs 22 billion to the hospital of PIMS for its services during the past three years.

According to official documents, last year’s budget for PIMS hospital was Rs 6.84 billion at the federal level.
But the amount of money spent was exceeded by the hospital administration and the total expenses of the hospital were Rs 7.51 billion. As a result, the hospital had to spend more money than its allocated budget this past year and the administration has been provided with an extra supplementary budget of Rs 660 million. In the meantime, Rs 7.63 billion has been allocated for the current fiscal year for the operation of PIMS hospital.
