NEW YORK : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah had a bilateral meeting to discuss the issue of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields of mutual interests.
This high level meeting was held in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). In the talks, both Foreign Ministers discussed the historical and cordial relations between the two countries, and expressed their satisfaction at the uninterrupted flow of high-level diplomatic engagement and institutional contacts between the two countries.
Regional Security and Middle East Situation discussions are conducted.
The conversation also included a detailed analysis of the current state of affairs in the Middle East and the rest of the region and the world.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar highlighted the importance of dialogue and strong diplomacy in promoting sustainable peace and stability in the region. Both parties agreed to keep close working relationship at international fora.
