Country Cannot Afford Any Political Adventurism in Current Circumstances, States Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan; Public Rejects Politics of Vandalism

ISLAMABAD: While addressing the IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Ghaffar Khan said that Pakistan has critical security issues and cannot tolerate any kind of political adventurism or agitation in the current scenario.

While delivering the Opening Remarks at the meeting on national affairs in Islamabad Abdul Aleem Khan said that the national security and peace in the country should never be compromised for the narrow political agenda and it was in the urgent need of the country for national unity instead of bitter political confrontation.

Abdul Aleem Khan’s key highlights in the statement:
National Security is an Issue of Contention: Politically, there were differences, but none in the security and integrity of the nation, Khan said. He said the opposition’s confrontational activities were “Hard to understand in the current security situation”.

Tribute to Armed Forces and Martyrs: Emphasizing that the country is in a state of war, the federal minister affirmed that “the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and security forces in the war against terror are a national asset, too precious for petty politics. He emphasized that the country is solidly behind their security men and martyrs.

Rejection of Disruptive Politics: Khan urged the political opposition to show political maturity, focus on maintaining stability of the country and promote unity within the country to face both challenges and threats from within and without, pointing out that the public disapproves of such disruptive politics.
