Disclosures Reveal Bushra Bibi’s Vision Severely Impaired While Imprisoned in Adiala Jail; Barrister Salman Safdar Submits Affidavit in Islamabad High Court Seeking Urgent Medical Treatment
ISLAMABAD : Much shocking information has come to light about the health of Bushra Bibi, wife of the jailed founding PTI chairman, which shows that her sight has been impaired to a great extent in Adiala Jail.
This was presented to the Islamabad High Court by her counsel Barrister Salman Safdar in the 190 million pound reference case with a formal affidavit containing these alarming medical conditions.

The Jail Meeting Details: Barrister Salman Safdar said that the meeting was scheduled for Nov 2 with a start time of 4:00 PM, and it had lasted for about 40 minutes. He added that Bushra Bibi had really dark shades on and said she can no longer bear the natural light or artificial light in an indoor setting.
Severe Vision Impairment and Cataract: Safdar has in his statement noted that it was clearly apparent that her vision is severely impaired and has caused her distress and visible distress to the PTI founder, he stated in his affidavit. Bushra Bibi told her lawyers that doctors in jail have found a “mature cataract” in her.
Prison Medical Care: Bushra Bibi was highly critical of the unhygienic conditions and inadequate medical care at Adiala Jail and pleaded for her personal physicians to examine and treat her.
In this backdrop, a miscellaneous application has been filed in Islamabad High Court for the submission of her full medical records. The court has asked for a detailed updated medical report from the Adiala jail authorities and urgent instructions for special medical treatment to save her tarnishing eyesight.
