Another Houthi Drone Attack Thwarted in Riyadh as Air Defense Intercepts Drone; Two Ballistic Missiles Destroyed Over Khamis Mushait While Yemeni Forces Launch Counter-Offensive

JEDDAH: Saudi-led military coalition has successfully jammed and destroyed a drone that aimed to strike Riyadh with an aerial attack and neutralized two ballistic missiles that were to hit Khamis Mushait on Saturday.

The air defense systems intercepted and shot down the projectiles before they could hit their targets, military officials said. Saudi-led coalition has also posted video of retaliatory strikes on Houthis missile launchers.

The most important developments and interceptions are the best things to remember.
The airport was shut down for 45 minutes as a precaution, after which it was re-opened to regular aircraft operations, airport officials sources said.

Yemeni Government Force Operations: The official Yemeni Government forces have meanwhile stepped up counter-offensive operations against Houthis’ positions, which resulted in 1,417 strikes against Houthis’ targets during the last 24 hours, causing significant losses in the number of personnel and material for the militia.

Current Air Defense Readiness: Security forces continue to be vigilant across the Kingdom, with air defence set-up still operating to neutralise any cross-border projectile threats.
