Field Marshal Meets DR Congo Defense Delegation, Agreement Reached to Enhance Security Cooperation
RAWALPINDI: A high level defence delegation from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) led by the delegation head and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of the DRC Lieutenant General Banza Muylamboy visited the Headquarters (HQ) in Rawalpindi and met the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Pakistan Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
A smartly turned out contingent of the armed forces greeted the visiting dignitary with a guard of honour upon his arrival, says Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). In the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on issues of common interest, regional security situation and deepening bilateral defense and security cooperation.
Enhancing bilateral cooperation and signing of MoU.
Both sides showed lot of satisfaction with the friendly and cordial relations between Pakistan and the DRC that had spanned years and discussed ways to strengthen the cooperation in the defense field between the two countries.
The military spokesman added that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the visit for enhance cooperation in defence and security between Pakistan and DRC.
