Hajj 2027 System Fully Digitalized, Pilgrims Able to Make Online Payments

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Mohammad Yousaf has announced that the entire Hajj 2027 system is now being digitally end-to-end with a key goal of offering maximum convenience, transparency, and ease to the pilgrims under special directives from the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Sardar Mohammad Yousaf gave a speech at an inauguration ceremony and press conference for the digital system for Hajj 2027, saying that more than 400,000 people have registered for the Hajj from their homes.

Starting today, the Federal Minister announced that the pilgrims who are in registry can now submit their Hajj applications and pay the first installment of Hajj expenses from home with ease and electronically. The new system will eliminate the need for pilgrims to go to banks in long queues, unnecessary traveling and paperwork.

Digital Convenience through Pak Hajj App and Portal.
Through Pak Hajj App and Hajj portal, a seamless, secure and modern online platform is being facilitated for applying and making payment for the pilgrimage from the application stage to the payment stage, whereas the government has been trying for every Pakistani pilgrim to be able to complete stages of the pilgrimage from their homes, he said.

Sardar Mohammad Yousaf, 107,526 seats have been provided under the Government Hajj Scheme for Hajj 2027 and seats will be allocated to the pilgrims on a “first-come, first-served” basis.

The Federal Minister directed all registered pilgrims to apply for Hajj in accordance with the procedure and to pay the first installment on time for the completion of their registration for Hajj 2027. Sardar Mohammad Yousaf further explained that the government was determined to make arrangements for Hajj even easier, transparent and modern to usher in a new and better era in the management of Hajj.
