Babar Azam Ruled Out of First Test Against England Due to Injury, Salman Ali Agha Appointed Captain
LEEDS:Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has been ruled out of the first Test match against England due to an injury. National team head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed has confirmed that Salman Ali Agha will be Pakistan’s captain in the first Test match while Shan Masood is fit to play the match.
On the second day of a three-day practice match at Kent County Cricket Club, Babar Azam was injured when hit by a ball in his right hand. Babar Azam was examined by the team doctor and as a precautionary measure, he was advised to take a break for the rest of the practice match.
